Divine Confection

Some pics of another cake creation that I have been working on for several weeks... Titled Devine Confection, the cake stands about 15" tall and about 10" wide at the base. I actually created this one for me, something I do not do very often as I am not always into looking at my own artwork. Allot of times I will hang my own work on the wall to study and contemplate ways to improve on it or gain inspiration for other works. This one is going into the bedroom to hold jewelry and other baubles...
The little scotty dog on top is a vintage cupcake topper- You can't see it but there is a place to hold one small candle. Now where to find those skinny little vintage candles??? The rest of the cake is embellished with vintage velvet trim, hat pin, Victorian rhinestone lace trim and an old rusty water spigot... Rhinestones and rust- Everything a girl needs...
Close-up of some handstamping and artful little doodles on the side of the cake.
Nails off to the right...

Fun cake box! Nice that you are keeping it for yourself. I very rarely keep anything that I make. I purchased one or your little creations at Flourishes last Saturday. A little cupcake that says "For Me". It's hanging in my workroom and makes me smile every time I look at it! Martha, Vintage Trifles
