Authentically Yours...
This week I am so honored to be a guest Alumni artist on CRESCENDOH. Jenny Doh founder of Crescendoh website has been featuring artists for almost a year now on her site. It is really an amazing place to visit with lots of articles, things to see and learn!
Please wander over and read the article that I wrote as a follow up to my first ART SAVES article. It really has been a transformational year for me on so many levels. The piece I wrote was not easy for me to write and truly comes from my heart and soul. I would so love to hear your thoughts and words, kindly drop me your comments on the Crescendo site when you finish reading my story...

Lisa- I loved reading the follow up article! Love that you have been good to yourself and taken time to take care of you! It is an encouragement for us all. Sometimes when life gets hard, we tend to fill it up with busy-ness instead of taking the time to hear our souls speak! I walked into Sample House in Southlake Tx yesterday and was immediately drawn to the cutest box with a bird on top...when I recognized it as one of yours! Their store had lots of your beautiful items! It made me so happy to see "you" there in your art!!! Love to see you succeed and grow!!
Wow Lisa- You are truly amazing and Truly an inspiration! Thank you for your story and for being who you are!
Lisa,
I loved it, too. I took your class at Silver Bella and loved it. I made a house that also had vintage primer pictures that looked just like my daughter. I gave it to her for her birthday.
I was abused by my father as a child. I just realized that I have provided her a safe house to grow up in...which, in a sense, helps me reconcile my own childhood.
It was a great class and you are a fantastic teacher!
Fondly,
Suz
Love it!
Lisa,
How inspiring! I'm so glad you are where you are today. You are beautiful!

Lisa, I just want to tell you that when I first discovered the world of mixed media, your art just jumped out at me. I have been a fan for years, and I love getting to know you through your blog and your recent from-your-heart article at Crescendoh. Thank you for sharing your wonderful gift with us, and I sure do wish I lived close enough for a workshop!
this post and your article on Crescendoh really touched me. Thank you for being so honest and vulnerable and strong with your story.
